Ecuador, your premier adventure destination

From Sea to Sky, Ecuador has endless opportunities for trekking. Adventure seekers will enjoy exploring rarely visited regions in our “off the beaten track” adventure treks. We will ensure we preserve and protect the natural beauty of the areas we are visiting. Equally important is to respect the cultures that we come in contact with.

Paramo - Ande's high altitude grasslands and scrublands, characterized by dense thickets of small trees. The Polyepis species of tree is most common in the paramo, being on of the highest growing trees in the world. The plant life, grasses and trees found here have adapted to the harsh highland environment. Specialized habitat unique to the neo-tropics is found only in the area beginning from the highlands of Costa Rica to Northern Peru.
